You might have to pay a copayment when your child gets certain covered services. See the copayment table listed in your Member Handbook or the CHIP Cost Sharing Chart below. Your child’s ID card will list the copayment amount.
The table lists the CHIP copayment by the amount your family makes. Copayments are paid to the doctor or drug store at the time of service. Show your child’s ID card when you have an office visit, go to the ER or have a prescription filled.
You will not need to pay a copayment for well-child visits or immunizations.
Copayments do not apply to CHIP Perinate or CHIP Perinate Newborn members.
