We want you and your children to be healthy in body and in mind
Our health plan covers health for our members as a whole person.  That includes help for mental health problems like depression or substance abuse.

You don’t need a referral
You or your child may go to any mental health provider in our network.  You don’t need to ask your doctor for a referral.

You can get help anytime, day or night
If you need help for you or your child right away, call our hotline. It’s open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For emergencies, go to the nearest hospital or call 911 right away.

Behavioral health care services include:

  • Finding out what you need and making a treatment plan
  • Specialist care for mental illness
  • Help with drug or alcohol abuse
  • Help with managing your medicines
  • Help if you’re in the hospital
  • Help with therapy outside the hospital
  • Special outpatient services 
  • A care manager who organizes services for you
  • Mental rehabilitation services (helping you get back on your feet)

If you have mental health, alcohol or drug problems and need help right away, call 1-844-STRKIDS (1-844-787-5437), option 9 or 1-800-735-2989 (TTY/TDD). We’re here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week:

Your benefits include but are not limited to:

  • Counseling
  • Help with drug or alcohol abuse
  • Help managing your medicines
  • Access to a service coordinator

Your provider may need to get plan approval on some services before you can get them. A service coordinator will work with you and your provider(s). Together they will meet all your mental and physical health needs. 

Emergency care is covered anywhere in the United States.
