If you’re expecting a child, we’re here for you. Our PROMISE Program can help you and your child stay healthy during pregnancy. And take care of you after your child is born. You can earn gift cards for going to appointments. You can also sign up for Text4baby™. They’ll text you free tips and reminders to help you have a healthy pregnancy.
We’ll help you pay for an annual Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts membership. Boy Scouts will get a copy of Boys’ Life magazine. Girl Scouts will get The Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting. Scouts will also get one Journey book or a basic uniform, 6 months after they join.
Not a scout? That’s OK. We’ll pay for an annual membership at your local YMCA instead (up to $60 per year).

We make it easy for you to get the medicine you need to feel better. There are no copays or deductibles when you see your medicine on our formulary. A formulary is a list of covered medications. If you don’t see your medicine on our formulary, your doctor will help you find one that is similar. And you can fill your prescription at any pharmacy in our network.
Your mental health is important for your overall health. When you’re not quite feeling like yourself, we’re here for you. You can get a variety of mental health services. And other great benefits that extend to people who need:

Do you need help getting care? Our care management team is here for you. Care managers are nurses and social workers who understand your health conditions and help connect you to the right care. A care manager can teach you more about your health, help you find rides to your appointments and more.
Some diseases call for a little extra care. Our disease management program can help you. Our care managers can help you manage chronic conditions, like asthma, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and more.

Diabetes can be a lot of work to handle alone. Our Diabetes Prevention Program can help you manage your blood sugar. You can go to group meetings and learn more about eating healthy. They’ll also teach you more about exercising and dealing with stress.
To join, you must be at least 18 years old and:
Be overweight — defined as having a body mass index (BMI) of 25 or more, or if you’re Asian, a BMI of 23 or more
Have been diagnosed with prediabetes
Have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes
Not be pregnant
Have never been diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes

If you need something translated into a language other than English, just call us. We can also provide materials in other formats, too. Like braille, audio CD or large print. And if you need an interpreter for your medical appointment, just call Member Services 48 hours before your appointment. We’ll arrange for one to be at your appointment.
