For Providers

Together we can improve health care quality

At Aetna Better Health of Maryland, we value our provider partners. We want to work with you to provide timely, safe and effective health care to our members. We’re committed to making sure our providers receive the best possible and latest information, technology and tools available to ensure their success and their ability to provide for our members.

Good communication among our providers and our plan administrators is key to the delivery of quality health care services to our members. Please don’t hesitate to contact us any time with any questions you have at 1-866-827-2710.

Provider Advisory Committee

We invite our providers to join our provider advisory committee. Our committee meets quarterly. The committee consists of providers who serve Medicaid beneficiaries, other indigent populations, and members with special needs.

We value your input. Your recommendations may be used to improve quality management activities and policy and operations changes. If you are interested in joining the provider advisory committee, please contact provider relations at 1-866-827-2710.

Maryland Department of Health Provider Enrollment Portal

Starting November 2017, Maryland Medicaid will introduce a new electronic Provider Revalidation and Enrollment Portal (ePREP). ePREP will be the one-stop shop for provider enrollment, re-enrollment, revalidation, information updates and demographic changes. Maryland Medicaid will also launch a Call Center to coincide with ePREP’s Fall go-live.  Automated Health Systems (AHS) will operate the Call Center and ePREP through its subcontractor, Digital Harbor.
