We encourage providers to submit claims electronically through Emdeon. When submitting claims to our plan, use the Provider ID number 128LA for both CMS 1500 and UB 04 forms.

Electronic fund transfer offers electronic payments deposited directly into providers’ bank accounts.

Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)
Electronic remittance advice is an electronic file that contains claim payment and remittance information sent to your office. This is sometimes referred to by its HIPAA transaction number, 835.

The Electronic Transaction Vendors on this list are sub-contracted with Emdeon for both claims and real-time transactions. Providers will need to add Payer ID 128LA to their practice management system.
Aetna is currently working to establish a connection with McKesson/Relay Health for electronic transactions. We will update this messaging once this becomes available.

ICD-9 to ICD-10 Translator
This tool comes from AAPC, a nationally recognized coding organization, and is based on the General Equivalency Mapping (GEM) files published by CMS. It is not intended to be used as an ICD-10 conversion, ICD-10 mapping, or ICD-9 to ICD-10 crosswalk tool. Keep in mind that while many codes in ICD-9-CM map directly to codes in ICD-10, in some cases, a clinical analysis may be required to determine which code or codes should be selected for your mapping. Always review mapping results before applying them.

Voided NEAT Claims
It is anticipated that on Thursday, May 26, 2016, Molina will void claims for non-emergency ambulance transportation (NEAT) that were paid in error. The voided claims will appear on your Remittance Advice (RA) with a BYU Plan specific edit code of 870 for Aetna. To resubmit your claims, please follow the instructions listed in the document below.
